Pursuing The Foundation Mission

Through its Giving Programs, the MTA Foundation supports projects that pioneer a more robust and connected community throughout the Mat-Su Valley and Eagle River/Chugiak areas, to Anderson and Glacier View. Because connectivity is not the only element of a vibrant and prosperous community, the MTA Foundation also makes donations for general community support.

Scholarships Awarded

The MTA Foundation empowers local students by awarding numerous scholarships each year. Whether they’re first-time college students or returning to continue their education path, these students will acquire the skills to benefit their local communities. Each of these career paths plays an essential role in Alaska’s future.
